Meet our Executive Board

Suchitra Kamath

Suchitra Kamath is the President of ISAAW. Suchitra manages the strategy, customer experience and marketing for her business, the Minuteman Press of Edison. She is the recipient of the “Rising Star Entrepreneurial Award” by NJ immigrant entrepreneurial awards (NJIEA) for her contributions to her community.  Prior to becoming a business owner, she managed the strategy and compliance of global programs for Tier-1 financial institutions. She holds a degree in Instrument Technology with Telemedicine majors from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi), India as well as a Masters in Library & Information Sciences with a concentration in Digital information organization from Rutgers University, NJ.

Azra Baig

Azra is the Vice-President of ISAAW. 

Her wide-ranging political advocacy experience drives her efforts to ensure ISAAW's goals are effectively met. Through her role as an elected representative of the South Brunswick Board of Education where she was the Chairwoman of the Policy Committee, and a member of the Academic/ Curriculum Committee, and several Township Commissions, in addition to her roles as Chairwoman of the South Brunswick Human Relations Commission, and advisory board roles of Council on American-Islamic Relations NJ (CAIR-NJ), Azra's interconnections elevate ISAAW's mission.

Dr. Bishnu Maya Pariyar

Dr. Pariyar is the Secretary of ISAAW and  a prolific social entrepreneur, an award-winning scholar, and a well-known advocate for marginalized Nepali communities. Her commitment to civic engagement and advocacy  is reflected in her work in social development and combatting domestic violence against women and children.  She is also the founding President of the Association of Dalit Women’s Advancement of Nepal (ADWAN).

Sara Aziz

Sarah Aziz is the treasurer of ISAAW.  Her lifelong interest and role in politics gives her keen insight into different aspects of the political sphere.  Having served as treasurer in various political campaigns, Sarah's breadth of experience ensures that ISAAW meets its goals.

Chandana Rao

Chandana Rao is the social media and policy strategist for ISAAW.  Her background in legal affairs informs the issues reflected in our communities.  As a volunteer with Rising Tide Capital and guest speaker at NYC Small business Services, FastTrac New Venture for the Female Entrepreneur, Chandana focuses on empowering women entrepreneurs, especially from economically and socially disadvantaged communities.
